GW Information Technology provides access to a variety of software and business applications for GW students, faculty and staff. These services allow GW community members to securely access applications and content while on and off campus.
The software and business apps listed below are available to all students at the George Washington University.

Adobe Creative Cloud includes Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Illustrator and more and can be downloaded on your university-owned or personal device. Note: You must use your @gwu.edu email to take advantage of the GW license. Maple is math software that combines the world’s most powerful math engine with an interface that makes it extremely easy to analyze, explore, visualize, and solve mathematical problems. Request Maple from GW IT.
A symbolic mathematical computation program, sometimes called a computer algebra program, used in many scientific, engineering, mathematical, and computing fields. How to access Wolfram Mathematica.

The Microsoft Imagine subscription provides access to Microsoft software that is used for technical education. The subscription includes a variety of designer and developer tools and servers and applications.
The Oracle Academy subscription includes access to a variety of Oracle products.
The VMWare subscription includes access to most VMWare products including Fusion, ESX and VMWare training material.
Since GW added Wolfram|Alpha Pro subscription in the summer 2013, all faculty and students within GWU are now able to use this software.
This software was added in the summer of 2015, and all faculty and students within SEAS now have access.
SEAS has added Tecplot subscription in early 2014, and now all faculty and students within SEAS are now able to use this software.
SEAS was granted three years of free educational licenses through the AutodeskAcademic Resource Center resulting in access to the AutoCAD for Mac and the complete Education Master Suite and the Entertainment Creation Suite.

Smartsheet is a software as a service offering for collaboration and work management. It is used to assign tasks, track project progress, manage calendars, share documents, and manage other work using a tabular user interface. SON is currently licensed for unlimited "free users" with a fixed number licensed "seats" available on an as-needed basis.
