Room Type:
- Auditorium - large lecture hall with fixed seating and complex AV installation
- Collaborative Classroom - tables surrounded by flexible furniture for student groups, additional whiteboards - may include complex and/or custom AV installations that permit content sharing by students
- Flexible Classroom - mobile tablet chairs for student grouping, additional whiteboards - may includes complex and/or custom AV installations that permit content sharing by students
- Computer Classroom - scheduled classroom with Computer workstations for every student as well as an instructor station
- Specialized Classroom - specialized equipment designed for particular schools or departments
- Traditional Classroom - standard classroom
- Laboratory - specialized equipment designed for particular schools or departments
- Seminar Room - small scheduled room for academic use
- Computer Lab - non-scheduled room with computer workstations for every seat
- Theatre - theatre with fixed seating, stage, and complex AV installations
Instructional Capabilities: What activities can I host in this room?
- Lecture Capture - this room can capture video, audio and or computer content from Echo360, Panopto, or Kaltura lecture capture services
- Polling - this room has Turning Point, Polleverywhere or other software and hardware installed on the instructor computer
- Present/Project - this room can display an image from a projector or display monitor
- Small group breakout - furniture or room layout permits breaking into groups with movable tables and chairs, small group tables, and/or other small group equipment
- Specialized Equipment - department or course specific hardware or equipment such as science labs, PT equipment or robotics
- Video Playback - this room can play a video from a DVD player either in the computer or from a separate player
- Web Conferencing - this room can transmit and receive video, audio and or computer content from WebEx, Zoom, or Blackboard Collaborate

- Document Camera - document camera or visualizer either on the lectern or mounted from the ceiling
- Instructor PC - in-room computer (may be Mac or PC)
- Laptop connection - one or more inputs to project from a laptop could be HDMI, VGA, etc.
- Multiple Projectors - more than one projector and screen in the room
- Multiple TVs - more than one large format monitors in the room

- Speakers - speakers to play in-room audio from any of the inputs and/or amplification from microphones
- Whiteboard - specialized whiteboard with mounted camera that can be projected to the whole room

- Wireless Presentation - appliance that allows projecting from wireless mobile devices including, phones, tablets, and laptops without a physical cable
Recorded Content: What inputs are included in the lecture capture recording or web conferencing
- Audience Mics - integrated microphones mounted from the ceiling and spread around the room to record in-room conversation
- Document Camera - document camera or visualizer either on the lectern or mounted from the ceiling and is included in the recording if that input is also being projected in the room.
- Instructor PC - in-room computer (may be Mac or PC)
- Laptop Connection - any device connected via HDMI, VGA or other that is included in the recording if that input is also being projected in the room.
- Mounted Camera - one or more cameras mounted from the ceiling or wall that can be controlled from the touch panel
- Portable Camera - one or more cameras that can be moved or physically pointed at desired subject
- Whiteboard - specialized whiteboard with mounted camera that can be included in the recording
- Wired Mic - podium or other wired microphone for recording or web conferencing
- Wireless Mic - wireless microphone for recording
Furniture - What type of tables and chairs are in the space?
- Computer Cart - the mobile cart with all technology mounted on a height adjustable cart
- Extra Whiteboard - more than one whiteboard in front of the room
- Fixed Podium - podium in the center of the room that cannot be moved or re-arranged
- Fixed Seating - chairs mounted to the floor and unable to move
- Tables - student tables that seat one to four people per table
- Tablet Chairs (fixed) - chairs with mounted tablet arm
- Tablet Chairs (on wheels) - chairs with mounted tablet arm and wheels to move around the room
- Standard Chairs - student chairs usually with tables
- Wheeled Chairs - student chairs with wheels to easily move around the room
- No Whiteboard - room with no whiteboard
