Securing GW

GW Information Security

Mission Statement: To secure GW's system and network resources and serve as strategic advisors to university leadership on digital business risks.

The GW Security Awareness Program strives to minimize risk impacting business operations by reducing data loss, limiting exposure, and increasing the Security IQ of GW Students, Staff, and Faculty.

Security Awareness is key in maintaining GW’s strong reputation as a school with substantial security measures and guidelines aimed at protecting all departments, while also furthering the goal to facilitate the education of individuals in all areas of study, to conduct scholarly research, and to publish research findings without incidents or breaches.
