Features
Research Storage NAS (Network Attached Storage) is a multi-protocol, distributed storage platform supporting research throughout GW systems, from desktops to scientific instruments and HPC systems. While researchers should not use Research NAS as a true research data archive platform, the Research NAS system is replicated between Virginia and Foggy Bottom campuses, providing greater redundancy. Research groups begin with a 10TB storage quota and storage can be accessed using SMB and NFS protocols.
