Adobe Express Premium Available to Everyone at GW
As part of our ongoing commitment to providing innovative and cost-effective solutions, GW IT has recently restructured the campus-wide Adobe Creative Campus Agreement. GW has transitioned to premium memberships for Adobe Express for all faculty, staff and students. Full-time Faculty and Staff will retain access to Acrobat Pro, and we continue to offer the full Creative Cloud licenses to many of our shared computing devices in classrooms and labs. GW will remain part of a select group of “Adobe Creative Campuses” leading the way in digital competency initiatives to support creative teaching strategies in higher education.
Adobe Express Premium is a powerful, cloud-based application that streamlines access to popular Adobe features, offering several of the capabilities that were previously only available in the other creative cloud applications. With Adobe Express Premium, we are able to offer a robust and feature-rich solution that meets the creative needs of our community. Express brings the power and precision of Adobe to a web and mobile app that makes creating amazing designs fast and easy.
Students across all disciplines and schools can access Adobe Express on their own computers and devices. This is part of an agreement that adds GW to a select group of “Adobe Creative Campuses” across the country that are leading the way in digital competency initiatives to support creative teaching strategies in higher education.
How to Access Adobe Applications
Please Note:
Staff, faculty and students who create communications or marketing materials on behalf of the university are obligated to follow GW’s Identity Standards & Guidelines. These cover proper usage of institutional logos and logos for individual units, as well as color palette, fonts, and other visual elements. If you have questions on proper visual identity usage, please email [email protected] for guidance. GW Visual Identity guidelines are available here.

Adobe License Update
Beginning July 1, 2023, GW will be transitioning from Adobe Creative Cloud for the full campus to Adobe Express Premium. After the license changes, Adobe Creative Cloud apps installed on your personal or GW issued device will become unavailable at the next Adobe required login.
Full-time Faculty and staff will retain access to Acrobat Pro. We will continue to offer the full Creative Cloud licenses on many of our shared computing devices in classrooms and labs. For GW Community members that have a consistent ongoing academic, research, or business related need for premier applications like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, an individual Adobe Creative Cloud License will be provided and require an annual renewal. Requests for individual Adobe licenses can be submitted at go.gwu.edu/requestadobecc.
