Protect Yourself

Protect yourself against phishing of personal information by deleting or reporting all email that requests your personal or account information.

  • If you feel a message might be real, reach out to the vendor directly using a trusted phone number. Do NOT reply to the information in the email.
  • If you think you may have received a phishing email, please do NOT reply to it, click on any links or download any attached files.
  • If you receive a suspicious email or you have any questions about the validity of links within messages or file attachments, please forward it to [email protected].
  • If you inadvertently open an infected email, click a fraudulent link or download an unknown attachment, please contact the IT Support Center immediately at 202-994-GWIT (4948) or visit one of our Walk-in Support Centers.
