As the Associate Vice President of Academic Technology and Customer Experience, Jared leads a dedicated team responsible for the cross-functional management of academic technology operations and information technology support. In this role, he oversees functions such as customer service support and call centers, campus partnerships, academic technology operations, change management, training, governance, project planning, and technology within academic spaces across three campuses and two academic centers.
Prior to joining GW Information Technology, Jared served as Associate Dean for Academic Technologies and Deputy Chief Academic Technology Officer in GW Libraries and Academic Innovation. There, he led the Solutions Center and a project management office in addition to the IT and audiovisual design and engineering teams that supported more than 200 learning spaces and designed innovative learning as well as lecture capture systems.
An Educause Management Institute faculty member, Jared holds a bachelor's degree in international relations from Wheaton College and an MBA from George Washington University.
