As the Interim Vice Provost for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer, Anna leads the university’s technology strategy, modernization efforts, and enterprise technology services. She is committed to ensuring that investments in technology align with institutional priorities and deliver meaningful value for the teaching, learning, and research missions. Anna’s leadership approach is grounded in authentic communication, collaboration, and servant leadership, with a strong emphasis on effective change management that enables institutional transformation.

With more than two decades of experience in higher education and technology, Anna brings a depth of perspective shaped by roles in both industry and academia. She began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) as a management consultant for the East Coast Region before spending 19 years at the University of Oklahoma in progressively senior IT leadership roles. In her role as Deputy CIO at GW, she has strengthened the university’s technology foundation and led major initiatives, including Banner modernization and an enterprise cloud migration.

Anna is actively engaged in the national higher education technology community. She has served as a faculty member for EDUCAUSE Institute programs and is frequently invited to speak about leadership, modernization, IT financial management and organizational change. She holds a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from the College of William & Mary and an MBA from the University of Oklahoma.
