GW students living on-campus can now register their Apple TV, Playstation, Roku, Nintendo Switch, Amazon Alexa and Xbox to GW's gaming and streaming network, GWConnect. With GWConnect, you’ll be able to wirelessly connect your devices to the GW network.
In order to connect to GWConnect, you'll have to register your device.
You'll need your device's MAC address (Media Access Control – is a unique identifier associated with your computer’s network interface controller (NIC)). Visit our knowledge base for instructions on how to locate the MAC address on your device and connect your devices.
The MAC address will be in this format:
XX - XX - XX – XX - XX – XX or XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX
Access the device registration site using the button below. Sign in with your UserID and corresponding password.
Once you register your device, you'll be able to connect to GWConnect. If you're having difficulties connecting, please try restarting your device. You can always contact the IT Support Center at 202-994-4948 or [email protected] for assistance.
At this time, the only devices that can wirelessly connect to GW's network are the Apple TV, Playstation, Roku, Nintendo Switch, Amazon Alexa and Xbox. If you'd like to connect additional devices through a wired Internet connection, please visit our GWired page.
