Network Maintenance Schedule & Impacts

GW IT is replacing network infrastructure across all of our campuses. This includes upgrading old equipment, enhancing connectivity, and enabling advanced device capabilities. Updates on schedules and impacts will be provided as information becomes available.

Network Equipment Replacement

Starting in July, we will be upgrading network equipment across campus.

Maintenance Schedule

Maintenance is scheduled from 6:30am-8:30am to minimize impacts.

As equipment is replaced by floor, network services will be unavailable during the hardware upgrade on each floor.

Data Center Distribution Nodes

GW IT will be replacing distribution nodes across campus, including the two distribution nodes supplying our data centers. We are coordinating with offices and departments to schedule the upgrades. The schedule will be updated as dates are finalized.  

During the maintenance window, services hosted in the affected data center will be unavailable. We will continue to update these impacts as information becomes available.

• Logging into classroom and conference room computers
• GW Printing
