Project Management Institute Ashburn Local Community

The Project Management Institute (PMI) is the leading professional membership association for the project management profession. The PMI provides numerous resources including certifications, global standards, research, training, chapters and communities. Through the PMI, the Division of IT Project and Portfolio Management Office has established an Ashburn Local Community, sponsored by GW.

The Ashburn Local Community will host a series of brown bag luncheons which will provide attendees with both networking and educational opportunities (PDUs). Seasoned guest speakers with unique project management expertise will join us to deliver presentations related to improving the practice of managing projects and leading others. The sessions are free and open to the public, and a PMP certification is not required to attend.
