National Cybersecurity Awareness Month Logo

October is National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, a national effort to help everyone stay protected whenever and however you connect. GW Information Technology is proud to be a cybersecurity champion and support this online safety and education initiative.

The cybersecurity and digital privacy of our community is important to us and we have compiled an extensive list of events, speakers and resources to help our GW community take proactive steps to enhance cybersecurity at home and in the workplace.

Events will take place at Foggy Bottom and Virginia Science & Technology Campus and will include Jeopardy-style games in which your security awareness and knowledge could win you a prize, opportunities to talk with Information Security experts and get your questions and concerns answered, and two keynote presentations by online security pros and much more.
