As the Interim Chief Technology Officer, Jonathan Fozard provides executive leadership and oversight for all University technology services. He leads a diverse team focused on positioning technology as a strategic driver versus an operational facilitator. In his role, Jonathan oversees a comprehensive portfolio of technology initiatives, policies, contracts, vendor relationships, and financial planning. Jonathan ensures students, faculty, and staff are equipped with the latest technologies and solutions to enhance the student experience and advance GW toward its aspiration for preeminence as a comprehensive, global research university.
Jonathan previously served as the Associate Vice President for the Office of the Chief Information Officer at GW prior to his most recent appointment. Before joining GW, he served over 19 years in other higher education leadership positions at the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University, and Mid-America Christian University.
Jonathan holds a bachelor’s degree in management information systems and a master’s in business administration. He is in his final years as a Ph.D. student in higher education administration and policy studies at Oklahoma State University.
