Chris Megill

Chris Megill is a seasoned IT professional with more than 21 years of technology experience. He has a background in telecommunications, technology support, IT service management and third-party vendor management and a passion for customer service, team leadership and technical support.

Prior to working at GW, he served in a variety of positions, including student technology support call center analyst at Catholic University and Georgetown University and manager of student technology services at Georgetown University. In other roles Mr. Megill was also a solutions architect at Compaq Computer Corporation and served as the manager of telecommunications client services for GW's Division of IT from 2000 to 2006.

In his current role, Mr. Megill is responsible for leading both the communication services and IT Support Center teams, which provide voice, video and data support and 24-hour technology support and request escalation, in their efforts to provide world-class customer service and technology support. Additionally, he provides around-the-clock supervision and monitoring of GW's Foggy Bottom and Virginia campus data centers. He holds a B.A. in English literature from the Catholic University of America.
