  • GW's virtual private network (VPN) web-based or desktop client downloaded and installed on your computer
  • An active NetID

GW1X is a secure wireless network that uses an authentication method that works with Apple OS X computers, Apple iOS mobile devices and a variety of Android devices.  GW1X automatically connects devices to the Internet, and once users are connected, they will not have to log in to the system again.
