The Division of Information Technology provides a number of research computing services for GW students, faculty, staff and community members. These services support computationally intensive research computing and are designed to enhance the university's research and education goals. 

Colonial One

For research needs that use high-performance computing for data analysis, GW acquired and has begun implementation of a new shared high-performance computing cluster named Colonial One.

Data Management Support Services

The Division of IT offers several data management support services, including data management plan (DMP) templates, research data management support, DMP development tools, sample plans, templates, outlines and worksheets.

Capital Area Advanced Research and Education Network (CAAREN)

CAAREN is an initiative designed to build a high-performance research and education infrastructure serving the Washington, DC, and Northern Virginia areas.
